The editorial team behind MittiMurti
Our content is written by a small editorial collective with backgrounds in environmental policy, traditional Indian art, and direct artisan relationships. Every page is reviewed for material accuracy and civic-rules compliance before publishing.
How we work
- Primary-source first. Every regulatory claim links to the issuing authority — CPCB, MPCB, BMC, AMC, KSPCB, OSPCB, PMC, TMC.
- Artisan-corroborated. Material and process descriptions are cross-checked with at least one practising artisan per category before publishing.
- Updated each season. City pages and civic data are refreshed annually before Ganesh Chaturthi.
- No paid placements in editorial. Seller listings are commerce; editorial pages do not accept paid placement.
The collective
MittiMurti Editorial is the byline used across the site. The collective currently includes:
- Editor-in-Chief — leads the editorial pipeline, owns the verified-eco-friendly standard, reviews every material page for factual accuracy.
- Civic policy reviewer — interprets CPCB / state-board guidance, tracks per-city immersion rules, and maintains the city pages.
- Artisan relations lead — handles seller onboarding, workshop visits, photo and video review.
- Content writer — produces material pages, knowledge guides, and FAQ updates.
We will publish named bylines once the team is fully on payroll. Until then, "MittiMurti Editorial" is used as the byline for every editorial article.
